Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026 · Draft pending review
1. What Paywall Council is
Paywall Council (“the Service”, “we”) is a web tool that runs an automated, AI-assisted review of a subscription checkout you submit (your answers and a screenshot) against consumer-protection rules of the markets you select, and returns an informational verdict.
2. Not legal advice
The Service provides automated analysis for informational purposes only and is not legal advice, a legal opinion, or a compliance certification. Verdicts can be incomplete or wrong. Always consult a qualified lawyer before making decisions.
3. Your account and rounds
You sign in with a Google account. New accounts receive one free review round; promo codes may add more. Rounds have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and a round spent on a completed review is not returned. Rounds are refunded automatically when a run fails or is stopped by its compute cap.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the answers and screenshots you submit. You grant us the right to process them to produce your verdict and to operate, debug and improve the Service. Submit only material you are allowed to share; do not upload content that is unlawful or that contains other people’s personal data beyond what a checkout screen normally shows.
5. Acceptable use
No probing, overloading or reverse-engineering the Service; no attempts to manipulate verdicts (including instructions embedded in screenshots); no reselling access. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim connected to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it (currently: zero).
7. Changes and contact
We may update the Service and these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions: mooreslaws@gmail.com.
